How To Crash Your MPG? Use Ethanol

Visit The Official Water4Gas Site By Clicking On This Banner Below..

So you come to the gasoline station and you have an option to get gasoline with or without ethanol. Which do you pick?
You might make the wrong decision if you did not know that you get more energy out of a gallon of regular gasoline then out of a gallon that contains ethanol.
If it’s a gallon of E-10, which is a blend of 10 percent ethanol and conventional gasoline now widely available in many city areas, there’s an energy difference of about 3.4 percent.
Now that may not seem like much when you’re topping off the tank this week. But over the course of a year of normal driving, it would take an additional 40 gallons of E-10 to go the same distance as conventional gasoline. If they were both priced the same, it would mean an extra $120.
Mileage can suffer by about 25 percent with E-85, according to AAA. Over the course of a year, that amounts to an extra 300 gallons of E-85 to go the same distance as when using conventional gasoline.
Even if ethanol-blended gasoline is cheaper, it can still end up costing you more because you’re getting less energy. That fact has not been made clear to people. In effect, you can end up paying more for less.
Moreover, the ethanol impact is expected to increase because the federal government approved an energy bill last year that encourages a sharp increase in ethanol production.
In Missouri, we’re already there. Since January, E-10 has been required for regular and midgrade gasolineoline
Experts say it’s difficult to blame E-10 for that much of a decline.
AAA now calculates a price for E-85 to adjust for its energy content. The national average pump price for the fuel on Thursday was $2.91 per gallon; regular gasolineoline was $3.56. But adjusted for its energy content, the price for E-85 jumps to $3.83, or 27 cents more than regular.
In fact, it’s now tough for ethanol, because of the energy loss, to be priced at a level so it can beat the price of conventional gasolineoline. That’s because a growing share of the nation’s corn production is being diverted to producing ethanol, which has been a contributing factor in driving corn prices over $6 a bushel.
General Motors has manufactured over three million cars and SUVs that can use traditional gasoline or E-84 but they are also expessing concern over the price competitiveness of E-85 with the energy factor considered.
I think the main point here is that ethanol is a lousy fuel source and there are better alternatives.
One of the best ways to go is with Water4gasoline.
The advantages that Water4gasoline members are happy to reap from their membership are basically these...
Improved gasoline performance as high as thirty or even fifty percent or even higher. This is a highly variable factor but most people are delighted with the improved fuel economy they get.

Water4Gas = Peaceful Revolution Against The Oil Corporations Using Water For Gas

Visit The Official Water4Gas Site By Clicking On This Banner Below..

We are living in times when it seems that the forces of good and the forces of evil are playing rock’em sock’em robots against each other and each swinging for the fences trying to knock the others block off on a daily basis!
Some people are excited to live in such uncertain times because it leaves the door open to make a bigger change as everybody’s actions or inactions weigh more heavily than in times of peace and contentment.
For the greater portion of society they would just like to have their garage sale and their Sunday barb-q and be pretty well left alone.
There is a time honored expression that people are in two categories, category 1 just wants to live their lives and category 2 keeps interfering with that simple wish.
The question becomes, at what point does the interference in the first group by rabid antagonists from the second group become so intolerable that action needs to be taken by even the most timid?
Naturally these are all gradient scales, there is no black and white just lots of shades of myriad colors between black and white.
When the intrusion cuts into the standard of living of most people then it is likely to meet with widespread protest and one of those areas is the skyrocketing price of gas. Gas prices near me, in Los Angeles, are now pushing or over $4 per gallon for regular unleaded… that HURTS!
Now there are different ways that individuals can fight back versus the many types of oppression that we are all hit with. Some folks need to fight City Hall or become bloggers or go out on the freeway that says something other than “will work for beer” and so forth. Most all of us can help fight the good fight by simply stepping out of the box and choosing wise alternatives that help save them money and keep money out of the pockets of Big Oil.
By opting for solutions that save us money and defy the demands of the corporations that we just fall in line we can help accomplish peaceful revolution.
Water4Gas offers one of the best solutions with which to accomplish that peaceful revolution.
The advantages that Water4Gas members are happy to reap from their membership are basically these...
Improved gasoline performance up to 20, 30 or 50% or even higher. This percentage varies widely from one vehicle to another, naturally. But there seems to be a universally positive response from members as they see that their gas consumption actually does go down.
The other benefit is the warm, fuzzy feeling that one gets when they know that they are helping the environment by not polluting it since their car's emissions are so much cleaner.
And also paid members can become affiliates and make more money by spreading the good news about Water4Gas.
And there are other benefits.
Amongst these is the awareness that while others are suffering you don't have to and you can help them stop suffering from high gas prices!
Join Water4Gas and our revolution today and start getting the benefits of increased gas mileage, a more powerful engine and cleaner emissions.

If you are under the assumption that you are being taken to the cleaners by your fuel station when you see the price of fuel then better move on to a more cogent conspiracy theory because this one is unfounded.
Many people don’t even look at the huge fuel station prices signs because it it is too painful. It’s like “I know I am going to be hit, I don’t need to study how hard. Because of this uncomfortable experience , survey results show, that a majority of Americans think that the fuel station they are patronizing is to blame.A survey was done recently on how much money most people think they are paying to the fuel stations that the stations get to keep as profit.
One woman in Brooklyn said she figured the fuel stations's take was about $1.25 per gallon. Another motorist, a Long Island construction worker, guessed 65 cents. However, several other drivers were closer to the mark and felt that the fuel station with the $3.50 per gallon sign was only making less than ten cents and that is much more accurate.
The manager of the BP station where the lady in Brooklyn filled up, said the owner's take was 8 cents per gallon, and that most of the money taken in goes to BP.
I get many people who are complaining to me and are all upset and all I can do is assure them that I have no say-so in the pricing. That is all under the control of the my supplier."
For every gallon of fuel, about 72% of the price goes to the producers of the crude oil from which it's made,
The rest of the breakdown goes roughly like this… 1/8th gets eaten up by the government for taxes, 1/12th goes to the refiners and another 1/12th goes to marketing which includes having fuel stations out there as outlets for marketing purposes.
"They're not getting gouged by the fuel stations," said said a Mr Hoffinskott, an oil industry expert. Hoffinskott said that 90% of all pumps are privately owned, and those owners make anywhere from 7 to 15 cents per gallon, so that a relatively petty expense, like a pump-and-run theft, can throw off their earnings for a whole day.
So while the fuel station owners are also hurting financially they are getting insult added to injury by irate drivers who are upset about the prices being charged.
Another reason that fuel gouging is such a rare occurance is because there is so much competition from so many different stations in any neighborhood to provide the lowest price in town.
Where fuel stations make their money is off retail goods like candy bars, tires and frozen burritos, as well as services, like oil changes and auto repairs.
While it might seem that I am just depressing you about the fuel of prices and how nothing can be done about it but that is not at all my intention. The real issue here is how do you and I survive in the face of such an atrocity as $4 for a gallon of fuel, 80% or so gets wasted because of inefficiently designed fuel systems in most cars. And there is an answer. It is called Water4Gas.
The advantages that Water4Gas members are happy to reap from their membership are basically these...
Lower gas consumption as high as thirty or even fifty percent or even higher. This is a highly variable factor but most people are delighted with the improved fuel economy they get.

Renewable Energy Advocates – It’s Also OK To WIN!

Activists are the best people because they care about something beyond themselves enough to put time, money, energy, creativity into it and activism, at its best, is a bold statement of the basic goodness of human nature . But activists do have a particular liability in common that we should confront and acknowledge for our own benefit. We love the fight so much that we sometimes forget to win .
I was a member of an organization composed of leaders of various activist groups protesting various things and it seemed that the height of their accomplishment was that once in a while one of their members would go out and get himself arrested for protesting something.
Unfortunately, though, this accomplishes absolutely nothing for anybody except the individual who gets himself arrested . He gets to feel like Jesus or some other martyr for a cause and position himself in history because he spent a night in the slammer with a bunch of drunks and would be car thieves.
Let me put this another way.
Do you remember watching Bugs Bunny cartoons or the Three Stooges (come on, admit it!) where they do this gag of hammering on the door to some room they frantically need to get into and someone walks by them through an open door to one side or another of that door and goes right into the room with no effort whatsoever?
It can be like that for activists, too .
For someone with a cause to beat the drum for, getting out there and “beating that drum” can be a huge kick, an unbeatable high derived from confronting the evil, getting a chance to express their deepest feelings and concerns and be heard while standing with their brothers and sisters who are also fighting for the same cause. It is an electrification that only someone who does it with their heart and soul poured into the activity can dig . Others get it by being spectators at sporting events but activists get it by actually going out there and doing something effective.
However, we activists sometimes have so much fun doing what we are doing that we forget one little thing… to WIN!
As an example, take the Water4Gas system which is a real answer to alternative fuel for automobiles and helps drivers get better MPG, a happier car engine and also helps the environment with cleaner emissions .
It is an old mechanic’s trick, like if they want a car to pass emissions, they just pour water into the engine, all the gunk shoots out the back and then they take the car into the local smog inspection station and it passes. Well, that is a fraudulent practice because the car should not have passed emissions. But the same principle applies to the Water4Gas system, putting hydrogen into the air/gas mixture for a couple of weeks will eventually clean up the emissions and permanently, not just to pass an emissions test!
So if all these activists would get behind getting people to use the Water4Gas modification for their car engines they would actually WIN without needing cooperation from governments and corporations and without having to fight so hard. What has environmental activism wrought? All of this activism for alternative clean renewable fuel and energy has led us to biofuel and now we have a global food shortage and 10 to 20 million people dieing this year alone because crops were used for gas instead of food! And biofuel doesn’t even make a cleaner environment, it worsens it!
So all this lobbying, all this hysteria of global warming and so forth and all this effort and energy and creativity invested into the environmental movement when all people have to do is buy Water4Gas information, install the system in their cars, get others to do so and we win!
And then these activists can refocus their energies towards other vital issues such as the restoration of the Bill of Rights, habeas corpus and due process and the defeat of Big Brother surveillance and the National ID card in America .

Taking A Stand Against $4/Gallon Gasoline

Sometimes something can be startling even when you know that it has been coming for some time. The price of a gallon of gasoline here in Los Angeles has been flirting with the FOUR DOLLAR mark for the last few months. Premium gasoline has actually been hovering OVER that mark for the last several months.
In spite of all the advanced warning there was a definite surrealistic feeling to see a gasoline station last night that had a gallon of gasoline over $4 per gallon! For me, I was grateful that I have an incredible buffer that minimizes the impact of the rising gasoline prices so it hurts me less than most other people to see this robbery in broad daylight.
What is this advantage that I have? I happen to be one of the few in this town that have the Water4Gas system installed in my vehicle engine. The Water4Gas system and other tips that Water4Gas members have as benefits are a major advantage in times like these.
Look, in this country at this time if you think that the nanny government is going to take vehiclee of you from cradle to grave, well, it’s a bad idea, and it ain’t gonna happen. Or if you are looking for assistance from corporate entities which pray only to the “profit god” then you will walk away S.O.L. just as if a player on the NY Yankees might get help from the general manager of the Boston Red Sox. Despite the reports from 2002, the US military was dropping more than food on Afghanistan, they were vehiclepet bombing the place. Of course we all knew they were there to bomb the place and we were all in a state of mind to applaud it but the news was full of how we were actually on a humanitarian mission dropping food packets and greeding vehicleds. And all of this in search of one man (in a cave) who they let go multiple times and who they wanted for a crime that the FBI doesn’t even have on his Most Wanted picture. So don’t go asking the government for help. The government has gone nuts and been taken over by radical lunatics like John McCain and Dick Cheney.
So where do you look for help? One another! Basically, find who has the problem solved and has successful results with it and a good following of sensible people and go with that!
Ozzie Freedom is one of those people and his Water4Gas is one of those movements.
Benefits of becoming a member of Water4Gas and applying the technology W4G provides include primarily…
Increased MPG up to 20, 30 or 50% or even higher. This percentage varies widely from one vehicle to another, naturally. But there seems to be a universally positive response from members as they see that their gas consumption actually does go down.
The knowledge that your car emissions are clean and you are not harming the environment.
And also paid members can become affiliates and make more money by helping others get these great benefits of Water4Gas.
And there are other benefits.
Including the knowledge that you are one of the lucky ones that don’t have to suffer as the gas prices continue to soar!
Become part of the Water4Gas revolution today and start getting the benefits of increased gas mileage, a more powerful engine and cleaner emissions.

Americans Taking The Bus Or Bicycle As Gasoline Prices Rise

American drivers are doing something we have not done in the last FIFTY SEVEN years except for seven other times – consume less gas.
When we are talking about a decrease in fuel consumption it is in the range of half a percentage point.
I know that is a small percentage but it adds up to a tremendous amount of oil and it would be the first time in the last SEVENTEEN years that there was any annual decline at all. And it would be only the eighth year since 1951 in which demand for fuel has declined.
The federal government noted that the decline was occurring in part because of a slowing economy. But it also said that higher fuel prices were having an effect on demand.
“Sustained higher fuel prices are beginning to show up in lower fuel consumption,” said Tancred Lidderdale, an analyst for the Energy Information Administration. Both fuel and diesel prices are now at record levels.
Although higher fuel prices were expected to have an effect on demand, it wasn’t clear just how high they would have to go to do so. Many market watchers believed prices would have to stay above $3 per gallon for several months or even a year. That tipping point for fuel demand may have arrived.
Mike Right, a spokesman for AAA Club of Missouri, said that a decline in fuel usage shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. A survey conducted in January by AAA found that many motorists were already deciding to change vacation plans for this summer by planning for shorter trips. “We are starting to see some signs of that,” he said.
There are indications that a fundamental shift in consumer driving habits may have started in December, when total miles traveled in the U.S. dropped 3.9 percent compared with the same month a year earlier. Miles traveled in the Midwest were down 5.8 percent.
There is already a shift in demand from fuel guzzline SUVs towards higher MPG vehicles.
The government today plans to release a proposal to raise fuel efficiency standards for new cars and trucks, putting the nation’s fleet on track to reach 35 miles per gallon by 2020.
At the present time, newly manufactured vehicles in America are required to maintain at least a 27.5 MPG average and SUVs, trucks and vans are required to measure up to a 22.5 MPG minimum average.
Democrats have said the new fuel economy requirements will save motorists $700 to $1,000 a year in fuel costs.
Meanwhile, other drivers are turning to public transportation. The increase in the use nationwide of busses, etc last year was 4% and this year it is already 9%.
One ongoing concern is that even though Americans may be cutting back on fuel consumption, emerging middle classes in faster-growing countries such as China and India are quickly embracing the driving habit and pushing global demand for fuel higher.
So all of this zeroes in on one fundamental question. Will people have to all start driving Subarus, bicycles and taking the bus or be forced to stay at home because of soaring fuel prices or is there some other solution?
There sure is and it is called Water4Gas

Petrol Prices Will Continue Skyrocketing In South Africa

If you are in South Africa and you are having a bigger problem lately making ends meet, you are not alone. Sorry to tell you, but it is going to get worse before it gets better.
The price of oil is rocketing, the strength of the dollar (in which oil is traded) is declining. Oh, and don’t forget the strength of the Rand is also on the down at the moment. This in turn is having a knock on effect on the price of petrol in SA.
I’m not sure if everyone knows this, but usually the weak rand and other market factors don’t affect the price of oil immediately, but usually 12 months later do we bare the brunt of bad markets.
Oil is bought in futures, so this means that oil traders buy oil months in advance and trade in FUTURE values of barrels. There is a whole series of actions over roughly a six to twelve month period between the expensive oil getting shipped by the supplier from the field and then getting.
The weak rand South Africa has been having and other factors that affect oil prices like war, elections, abnormal weather, corporate downsizing, etc will get to them NEXT year!
Oil trading is standardized by using a single currency, and no surprise that the US dollar is chosen for this, as 49% of the world’s fuel consumption is made up of the USA. Now keep in mind that the US is only 1/24th of the worlds population, and you will start to see the economic power the US actually has, its not just talk, these guy mean business.
So, if the dollar declines then it costs less for other countries to buy oil so they try to buy it up more quickly but this results in an increase in demand and that drives the price up. Simple economics.
When one thinks about fuel and South Africa they often think of SASOL but SASOL accounts for less than 1/5th of the total South African fuel demand
The major provider of petrol to South Africa, then, is Caltex and they are distributing semi-refined oil to the refineries of other companies. Each product is slightly different, but the core of the petrol is exactly the same.
These fuel companies do add other techniques and chemicals to their petrol, which is why Shell can have a product called V Power and claim it does things that other petrols don’t.
So now that we all understand the mechanics of oil distribution in South Africa and the challenges that the industry faces one might ask what other choices or options do we have? Toyota has had a hydrogen powered engine for more than a decade in the Prius. There is also a green-friendly engine that BMW has been working out the bugs on for some time now and which recently hit the roads. Pretty much every major manufacturer has some activity going forward to make vehicles which run on something other than fossil fuels or in a hybrid with fossil fuels. These various solutions are not as easy as individual car owners doing modifications on their car engines to facilitate a different fuel solution than the one that the manufacturer originally installed.
One needs to look to individual pioneers and grassroots movements to find any real solutions.
WATER4GAS is offering information at a low price which consumers can use at home to create a small device which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their car or truck runs on.
Using Water4Gas you can minimumly expect to increase your MPG by 30-50% or even more. With WATER4GAS gasoline is made consumable so you can increase your MPG.
It also helps reduce emissions significantly.Happy members number about 99%! So how about you?

Where Is The Money In South Africa? Sasol!

Coal-to-oil is one of several promising but potentially polluting technologies that are receiving new attention amid high oil prices. In South Africa, environmental groups say Sasol's facilities have emitted huge volumes of carbon dioxide and pollutants, including sulfur dioxide. Critics have claimed that these gasses have been causing respiratory illnesses and all that Sasol has said in its defense is that their plants emit less toxic fumes than other plants from other companies.
To be fair, Sasol does have future plans with newer technologies which they claim will trap carbon dioxide instead of emitting it but their projection is only a 10% decrease in pollutants by 2015.
To many South Africans, Sasol is a huge success story. The company's daily production now meets about 30 percent of South Africa's transport-fuel needs. The country's 50-rand bank note even features a picture of one of Sasol's plants.
Coal-to-oil technology dates back to the 1920s, when two German chemists, Franz Fischer and Hans Tropsch, developed a process to convert coal into a gas and then use it to make synthetic fuels. Coal-to-oil technology helped fuel the Nazi war machine, which lacked access to sufficient crude oil. International oil companies also experimented with the process but put it aside because oil was cheaper.
In South Africa, though, circumstances were perfect for exploring Coal-to-oil. There was not much oil around. There was plenty of coal and it had very limited value on the market. In 1950, the government set up Sasol as a state-owned company and authorized funding for its first project, a coal-to-liquids facility called Sasolburg in the South African countryside.
By the time the facilities were completed in the early 1980s, international oil prices were collapsing. The project was nonetheless a success for the white-dominated apartheid government because international sanctions were restricting South Africa's ability to buy foreign oil. Sasol had become 75% privatized by 1979 and their plants managed to stay profitable by continually boosting efficiency and expanding their end products to include plastics, fertilizers and explosives.
Today, Secunda is reminiscent of the oil boom towns from the early industrial age in America, the facilities are huge, which is an understatement and there are 16000 people working for the company and 35000 total in the town along with a BMW dealer, a Casino hotel with the name Graceland and more trappings
Sasol made its first inroads in countries such as Qatar that have big stockpiles of hard-to-transport natural gas. These countries were interested in Sasol's technology for turning natural gas into liquid fuel.
By 2004, Chinese energy planners began meeting with Sasol executives in Beijing to discuss the coal-to-oil process. That was followed by a series of meetings with policy makers and Chinese companies, capped by a gathering in Cape Town in June attended by visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
In Montana, at least two companies, including the world's largest private-sector coal company, Peabody Energy Corp. of St. Louis, have said they are looking at potential coal-to-oil sites. Montana's Gov. Schweitzer says any excess carbon dioxide from a facility could be given to oil companies to be injected back into the ground to enhance recovery from old wells. Bringing Sasol on board is critical, says Gov. Schweitzer. He says Wall Street banks want the South Africans to play a role because Sasol is the only company with a track record in the business. To woo Sasol executives, he says, he took them on a flight over Montana coal country last year.
So, while Sasol is making a killing what does the average South African citizen do in order to fight back against inflation and rapidly rising gas prices? There is a solution.

Inflation, High Interest Rates And Soaring Fuel Prices Attack South Africa

   DISCOVER WATER4GAS CLICK HERE

Economic Anlaysts Forecasted in December that the New Year will be tough for the South African economy, with no end to high food and fuel prices in sight and, unfortunately, it looks like they are right

People were advised to be extra careful this year when spending as they will start to feel the pinch from rapidly rising prices of food and fuel , lofty interest rates and the inflation which rose above nine percent in February, the highest in the last five years , which caused many to be concerned that the interest rates could be going even higher .
The Reserve Bank's four interest rate increases last year failed to bring inflation back within the 3 percent to 6 percent target range. The rand's 15 percent slump against the dollar this year and a proposed 60 percent increase in electricity costs threatens to keep inflation above the target.
All of this is giving the Central Bank a black eye and ruining their credibility because the numbers are increasing dramatically and they seem to not be able to control them.
Governor Tito Mboweni said on March 19 the rand's drop will keep inflation above the target for longer than forecast. In January, the central bank forecast the inflation rate will peak at an average of 8.5 percent in the first quarter and drop within the target by the end of the year. We seem to be still going in the wrong direction and that is only hurting credibility of the banking institution.
The inflation of the price of food is a different story, the main force which is propelling that is the international shift towards growing of crops for food to growing of the same crops for biofuel, especially in the US..
The effect of the increasing oil price on the price of gasoline has been a spike in prices. There has been a strong demand growth for oil from emerging markets such as China and India and this, in turn, has sent oil prices shooting up. .
So what can the individual man or woman in South Africa do in order to survive these turbulent financial times? Well that is a broad question and there is no one quick fix. There are many smaller solutions. One would be foolish to expect the answer to fall from the sky or from the oil corporations or from the government. It is up to individual problem solving and grassroots movements of new technologies.
WATER4GAS is sharing information for a nominal fee which individuals can use in their garage or wherever to build a small device which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their vehicle runs on.

Action Needed For New Fuel Solutions, Water4Gas Steps Up To Bat

It has long been evident to policymakers that oil is not in infinite supply and that we need real solutions for that and for the damage being done to our environment. In fact, wind and solar power have gained significant footholds in some parts of the world. There are other energy solutions which have been carried forward in varying degrees and gone through testing and been implemented to various degrees in different parts of the world. But these solutions, which now contribute only a tiny percentage of the world's net fuel supply, are simply moving way too slowly if we hope to avoid a global train wreck in the not too distant future.
The report from the Department of Energy in the US shows alarming statistics that renewable fuels, such as using the elements for power as well as wood and fertilizer, supplied but 7.4% of global energy in 2004; biofuels accounted for another 1/3rd of a percentage point but the switch to biofuels, specifically corn and such crops is giving us a global food shortage disaster. So how much of the energy production worldwide was from fossil fuel? About 17/20ths! And nuclear power another 6%. The scariest news of all is that the Dept of Energy projects that two decades from now that percentage will be the same.
As for the effect on greenhouse gasses emissions, the impact of this is devastating and that is regardless of your view of the veracity of global warming: Rising reliance on coal (especially in China, India, and the United States) is going to trigger an increase in CO2 gasses of over 60% in the next twenty five years. The meaning of this is simple. If these figures hold, there is no hope of averting the worst effects of climate change.
As for Peak Oil, this projection is equally depressing. We simply are not set up on a policy, administrative, infrastructure basis to meet the demands for moving into new energy sources that we are going to have to confront in the next couple of decades.
The only real hope that I have seen in the entire field of alternative energy solutions comes from a simple information product that can be purchased on the internet
WATER4GAS is sharing information for a nominal fee which individuals can use in their garage or wherever to put together a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car or truck runs on.

Peak Oil And Inflation – Cause And Effect?

Many analysts are pondering whether there is a cause and effect between peak oil and inflation. The answer is clearly no. Peak oil can never cause inflation in and of itself. Inflation is an increase in money supply and credit. Peak oil cannot cause that to happen. So while skyrocketing oil costs can certainly be a result of inflation it cannot be its cause. But given that the U.S. is in deflation right here right now, the recent rise in oil prices cannot be attributed to inflation, at least in the U.S.
The more likely scenario is that the steeply and rapidly rising cost of oil is due to factors such as inflation in China, increased demand for oil in China, India and other countries and worries about peak oil. That is a nasty brew and there is no way for the Fed or the ECB to control it.
Suppose oil production in a large Saudi Arabia oil field halted tomorrow, Oil just ran out unexpectedly and oil surged to $300. Would the Fed try to fight this by raising interest rates to fend off inflation?
That would be nuts. Like kicking the cat because the car broke down.
I don't know, you don't know, and the Fed does not know what to and this is as good a reason as any why the Fed should be abolished.
Only by getting rid of the Fed and checking the resultant answer would one know for sure what is really going on. In recent years the Fed has become so ultra secretive that now they don’t even allow us to know how much money that they are printing into circulation at any given time. That puts us all at total effect, unable to handle any thing or make any useful changes.
So since there is little that we can do big picture aside from call for the end of the Federal Reserve the question becomes what can we do as individuals to become more at cause over our own personal financial situations overall and as regards the price of gas.

Consumers Hurting As Gasoline Prices Soar During Deflationary Spiral

What is the relationship between the increasing price of gas at the pump and inflation?
The price of oil is contingent upon perceived supply and demand and that is not a matter of inflation at all.
Petroleum is in just about everything around us so that means there is no easy way out. . Pills to plastics, most of everything in your present environment has oil has a key ingredient. Here is something that will make the point abundantly clear. Take a stroll around the house and note how many things have some kind of plastic in their makeup. Right, those things all have petroleum in them! It is like a funny old scene from a very odd flick from the 1970s called Kentucky Fried Movie which was a lot like SNL on steroids and in that short bit from the film a narrator is telling a housewife what her life would be like without zinc oxide and everything falls apart and goes to hell! That is the same thing with petroleum
Ok, we confronted that fact, now let’s confront this one.
It is time to wake up and smell the stench. We are not in times of stagflation or inflation. What we are experiencing now is deflation! An explanation of deflation… During deflation, while consumers can buy more with the same amount of money, they also have less access to money (e.g., as wages, debt, or the return realized on sales of their products) . The average citizen suffers in such times because while their income drops the costs they have to pay for things stays the same. Even the Federal Reserve, with their whole illegal bag of tricks can’t pull the economy out of a deflation because many of their tools in their arsenal are ineffective except in times of inflation. Deflation may set off a deflationary spiral where businesses slow or stop investing, because the investment risk is perceived as higher than just letting the money appreciate due to deflation. (The deflationary spiral is the opposite of the hyper-inflationary spiral.) Similarly, in deflation consumers have an incentive to delay consumption, which may contribute to the deflationary spiral.
What Obscures Deflation?
Right now what we have is deflation with a weak dollar. That weak dollar, in conjunction with peak oil, has caught nearly everyone off guard to the point they are screaming about oil prices and bond bubbles, while missing the far more important deflationary forces of foreclosures, bankruptcies, and massive writedowns in credit.
How can one stay afloat while the ship that they are on is sinking? Well we have to take one issue at a time and the easiest one to solve is the increase in gas prices.

Drive All You Want, No Worries

The latest peak oil news shows Russian Oil Slump Stirs Supply Jitters.
The production output of oil from Russia, highly depended upon for providing to new markets is having its own slowdown now, adding to uncertainties that have helped push oil prices to record highs.
Russian output fell for the first time in a decade during the first quarter of 2008. The decline was a full percentage point over the same time last year which is a huge amount.

This decline in production from the largest producer of oil in the world and one of the top exporting countries has placed more uncertainty into the market which is already having difficulty coping with other issues and this could result in even higher prices when the prices are already setting records.
The average cost of a gallon of gas went up six cents in one week(!) and is fifty one cents higher than it was one year ago!. Diesel prices are going up even faster Diesel prices are 10 cents higher than last week and $1.18 higher than a year ago.
The economic downturn in the U.S., by far the world's largest oil consumer, has taken some steam out of oil demand. however this is being counteracted by a faster increase in demand from places like India and Asia and we could see a rise in prices if there is any supply glitch. This is especially true since even Saudi Arabian oil output is down from this time last year.
And here in the Western Hemisphere, more problems…
Also running low on current output is the second largest oil field in the world, Cantarell, in Mexico.
The Cantarell field is so huge that one of every fifty barrels of oil that is on the world market comes from there and it is in such a steep decline that many experts believe Mexico may become an oil importer in eight years. The impact on Mexico’s already shaky economy which funds 2/5ths of its government’s spending from oil export revenues would be major.
Perhaps the worst news in the oil industry is the lack of good news. There doesn’t seem to be much at all. The future for petroleum is as dark as the oil they are running out of. And ethanol is likely to cause ten to twenty million deaths in 2008 from starvation because crops are being grown for fuel instead of food. These are major issues that are not being confronted.
If I just left it at that then this would be one VERY dark and depressing update. . But I won’t. Instead let me inform you about a real solution for the revolution of alternative energy.

Water4Gas – A Real Solution For Skyrocketing Gas Prices Using Waer For Gas

Water4Gas – A Real Solution For Skyrocketing Gas Prices
----------
It is no secret that the price of fuel is going through the roof
Gasoline prices are about 6 cents higher than last week, and 51 cents higher than a year ago! . Diesel prices are going up even faster We are looking at an increase of TEN CENTS IN ONE WEEK and $1.18 increase in the last year when we look at Diesel prices .
Truckers were going to stage a slowdown a week or so ago to protest the way increased fuel costs are cutting into profits. Other than isolated incidents of truckers deliberately driving slow and blocking traffic nothing happened. Slowing down traffic on major arteries and freeways is not going to win sympathy and it is not going to change market dynamics either. Ultimately the truckers delivered their loads so as to keep their jobs. That is basic economics that one leans even before they get to Economics 101
America’s Demand On Gas Consumption Decreases
A sign of the times and the dire financial circumstances is that for the first time in many years the use of gasoline in America has actually started going down . Don’t you get the feeling that there are less vehicles on the road recently ? This perception is backed by the statistics . The use of gas in America has been on the decline for the last 6 months or so . Many people might ask at this point : If U.S. consumption is down why are prices rising? Here are the answers.

· The dollar is falling
· The global demand is bigger than ever and increasing rapidly
· The Peak Oil scare
· Speculation
These factors will be focused on more heavily in upcoming articles . What I want to stress, though, as that one does not have to just sit at the effect of all these international financial convulsions. There is something that can be done about it

EVEN MORE Advantages Of Installing Water4Gas In Your Car Engine

Lower fuel usage is but one of many results you should expectof proper installation of Water4Gas systems. Lower fuel usage is the thing that attracts the attention of most people, because it's the factor that determines the immediate out-of-pocket cost of getting from one place to another.
Here are several additional benefits you can get, and how quickly you can start noticing it.
If you are facing a smog test and it is not looking like you will pass, such as in the case of a bad catalytic converter, an ancient clunker of a car, or for any reason short of a broken engine - any version of the Water4Gas design, has a bonus benefit for you. It stops the stench! Even with modern car computer systems and shiny new catalytic converters, vehicles emit pollutants into the atmosphere and poison your body when you are driving. With any Water4Gas installed, stink will diminish substantially starting day 1, go down and and stay down. This process just mentioned will take some number of days to finish. You will attain the happy plateau for emissions testing and overall engine efficiency should be achieved in about (and with regards to this I am shooting in the dark because I do not know a blessed thing about your automobile) in maybe two weeks or thereabouts. So if you need to do a smog test, leave the system running for 3 weeks and then take it for the test. If you can afford two smog checks, have it checked BEFORE installation - then again after three weeks. The results are something we'd love getting in writing. If you send us a before and after comparison we'll (a) thank you a thousand times, (b) conjure up some special present for you and (c) enshrine you forever in the Water4Gas Hall of Fame when it opens. OTHER BENEFITS INCLUDE…
LOWERED ENGINE TEMPERATURE, smoother engine and transmission performance, clean pistons and valves, etc, will be less money wasted on repairs and maintenance at least engine and transmission related. will be yours and your family's health due to less smog? Who knows how valuable that benefit could be over the long run? .
Now let's talk about the bottom line - immediate and tangible reduction in out-of-pocket expense on FOSSIL FUEL.If you have the same consideration that I do, you'd want to own an automobile that runs for free - TODAY. Well maybe I do rule the universe after all, good news, we're getting there. But for now we're "only" talking about helping you reduce your fuel usage in the range of 20%-30% depending on various conditions

Another change you will observe almost immediately is stronger acceleration, it will also be much smoother including easier gear shifts. AND A LOT MORE POWER OVERALL. When I installed my first HHO, it seemed that somebody had discarded my 2.9 Liter engine and installed a much bigger engine instead, maybe a 3.5 Liter. You'll be able to Eliminate carbon deposits and minimize future carbon build up. |Another occurance on my very first day with Water4Gas, is that the engine became very smooth all of a sudden. It occurred after about 5 or 8 miles of highway driving. I thought it was temporary due to some other factor like the weather or some such. But, after the day one, instead of reverting to the usual rough ride, the old Bronc just kept improving day by day! What actually happens is the engine steam-cleans itself on the inside while you're driving. This results in less and less carbon deposits and other contamination caused by unburned fuel.
Don't you want to experience that for your car?
